Zazu was told he needed ANOTHER Facebook post because apparently being handsome isn’t enough to get adopted....

Zazu resembles an oversized toddler with absolutely no plans of growing up. HE LOVES EVERYTHING! People. Walks. Attention. Snacks. Existing. He’s pretty easy to impress.

He’d also like you to know this is him after his SECOND trip to the groomer during his time with us, and he’s pretty proud of himself. Zazu’s been here since spring.

He came from a cruelty case. He used to live in a shed. Now he has people who care about him, AND he’s almost done with his heartworm treatment.

Safe. Happy. Ridiculously excited about life.

But still at the shelter.

None of us understand that part.

We’re Hiring: Kennel Attendants!

The Clermont County Animal Shelter is hiring full-time and part-time Kennel Attendants to help care for the dogs at our shelter.

Kennel Attendants help keep the shelter clean and safe, provide food, exercise and daily care for the dogs, assist with adoptions and work with the public and shelter staff to help dogs find loving homes.

You may have heard the term “land hippo” before... usually describing those adorable gray/blue pitty-type dogs with their chunky bodies and signature look.

Well, we’re pretty sure Iris is going to becomethe face you picture every time you hear the term.

That smile. Those cheeks. A sweet personality to match.

We absolutely ADORE Iris, and we’re pretty sure you will too once you meet her.

You can meet Iris from 12-4pm all week here at the shelter, and adoption fees for adult dogs are still reduced to $60!
