After an amazing 10 years, Wagg'n Tails Day Spa is closing. The decision to close has not been an easy decision to make. However, when one door closes, a new one opens. Wagg'n Tails has been the adventure of a lifetime, but new adventures now await the ladies of WTDS.

The salon and store were just a dream 8 years ago. Thank you Aunt Pam and Uncle Bill for believing in my dream. To the incredible group of family and friends who have helped "behind the scenes," I appreciate your support and encouragement.

I truly feel we have been blessed with some of the greatest clients a groomer could ask for. We've gotten to be a small part of your dog's life, and many times, a part of your life as well. Thank you for your support. Thank you for choosing us to love on your furry kid. Thank you for making these last 10 years INCREDIBLE!!

I want to give a huge thank you to all the girls who have helped make WTDS the number one salon in Leavenworth County and in Basehor. Lindsey Anderton, Brooke Kesinger, Amber Stone, Ashley Webb, Taylor Borr, Sara Brownlee, Autum Arvidson, Nyessa Lung, and Annie Grigsby- there are not enough words to describe how much I have learned from each of you and how much I have enjoyed working with you ladies.

Lastly, thank you to the woman who helped me start it all. Wendy Peterson, thank you for the opportunity to start my grooming business and for showing me the tough but amazing side of rescue.

Thank you!

~Wags

This post is just to bring awareness. I've heard folks say, the dog will be alright if you leave the AC on. It's still not safe.

A Nebraska family learned the hard way when the summer sun is beating down on a parked car, even leaving the air conditioner on doesn't always provide a safe place for pets.

One of the best parts of owning a salon in our small town is being able to give back and help when we can. This was a sweet surprise in the mail today ❤️

Wagg'n Tails Day Spa wants to remind everyone that we are a small, family owned salon. 🐾 We are not a large, corporate, cookie cutter, box store. We understand our scheduling and practices are not for everyone. Our salon is by appointment only. 🐩 We have a small staff of 3 groomers and a receptionist. While we try to accommodate as many clients as we are able, we take time to spend with our families (especially our children who won't stop growing up 😉). We love what we do, and we can't wait to be back in the salon tomorrow pampering some of our favorite pooches.❤️ Please be kind to one another and thank you for your understanding‼️
