Hi everyone! We’ve had a lot of questions about the veterinary professional question on the current ballot. While I think the idea of a mid-level practitioner is a good one, and it could give our veterinary technicians who are looking for career advancement an opportunity and also provide more help (which is definitely needed), this is not being supported by our professional veterinary organizations due to some serious concerns which I’ve shared below.

We’ll be closed tonight Sunday Sept 1 from 10pm to 8am due to a staff shortage. We’ll be open at 8am Monday morning for Labor Day.

08/14/2024

Unfortunately we will be closed tonight Wednesday August 14th due to staff illness. I apologize, but with our small staff I cannot find coverage. We will resume normal hours tomorrow evening. If you have an emergency please call Animal ER of the Western Slope in Grand Junction at 970-525-0911. Again I apologize.
