A Heart for HERO's, Inc A Heart for H.E.R.O.s (Horses Empowering Riders and Others), Inc. is a nonprofit organization. A Heart for H.E.R.O.s works in association with Rockin' W Ranch.

Our program's main focus is working with Special Olympics athletes in the Polk County Equestrian Program. It is our hope that the horses can help empower their riders and handlers and bring joy to the lives of others.

The athletes from Rockin W Ranch / A Heart for HERO's, Inc are participating in the Special Olympics equestrian show.

This is a rodeo event for people of all ages with wide ranges of disabilities. We are limited to ONLY 70 contestant spots. Registration will go live August 1 2026 @ 8AM we will post the link on the Hollie Brewer Adaptive Rodeo FB page. We kindly ask if you do not have any disabilities PLEASE do not sign up for this event. When you do, that takes away from another contestant who wants the spot. Spots will fill up fast. Please mark your calendar!!! 🚨
Volunteer and Vendor links will also go live that day.
If you want more information on how you can help on this special day, don’t hesitate to reach out. We will have a spot for you somewhere.
Also, don’t forget, we are always looking for sponsors, its takes alot to make this day happen and we have been able to do it free of charge to every contestant with the help from our Amazing Community.And lastly don’t forget to purchase your Sponsorship dinner tickets.

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, A Heart for HERO's, Inc Board Members Sarah Frederick and Natasha Parker along with our athletes Nevaeh, Briana, Brandy and Patrice volunteered at the Winter Haven Optimist Club's 10th Santa’s Run Fest for Our Kids 15k, 10K, 5K and Kids sprints events. The girls passed out Finisher Medals to everyone who crossed the finish line! There were approximately 600 runners registered who traversed the Chain of Lakes Trail with the 15k contestants running into Lake Alfred and back as well. Nearly 50 kids participated in the kids’ sprints! It was a wonderful day!

🐴We are looking for horse handlers, side walkers and team helpers!

👢No experience necessary, we will train you!

💁🏻‍♀️I will give volunteer hours if needed!

🙏🏻If you are able to volunteer any of these days, please let let me know ASAP!

🗓️Available days for volunteers:

Monday- 10am-11am
Tuesday- 5:30pm-6:30pm
Wednesday- 6pm-7pm
Thursday- 9am-10am
