Spirit clearly has plenty of love to share with Jennifer. This sweet moment between them shows the kind of connection that can grow when dogs get to know the people caring for them.

At Bark Avenue, our team gets to know each dog’s personality and what makes them comfortable and happy. Sometimes that means playtime with friends, and sometimes it means getting a little one-on-one attention from a familiar person.

Spirit looks pretty happy with this arrangement.

Some dogs leave paw prints on our floors. Others leave paw prints on our hearts. The special ones do both and even when they're no longer with us, they'll always be part of the Bark Avenue family.

On Tuesday, October 27, we invite you to join us in celebrating Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), a special day to remember and honor the beloved dogs who have left paw prints on our hearts.

We'd love for you to be part of this special tribute!

Help us honor them: Bring a photo of a pet you've lost to our front desk, and we'll include them in our remembrance celebration.

Dundie and Duke had front-row seats for one of the best ways to cool off at Bark Avenue. With the water spraying and plenty of room to explore, these two were taking it all in before deciding whether it was time to jump into the action.

Outdoor play gives our daycare dogs a chance to enjoy fresh air, movement, and different kinds of enrichment. Water activities add a little extra variety and give everyone another way to play at their own pace.

Dundie and Duke were ready to investigate every drop.
