Hi! I’m Heidi Bernhard with Heidi Marie Equine, and I’m proud to announce that I will be accepting training horses starting November 1st in Belvidere, Illinois!

If you’re looking for a trainer who takes a soft but effective approach, I might be the trainer for you!

I specialize in starting young horses under saddle and giving them a confident, long-lasting foundation that will carry them throughout their lives. My services include starting horses under saddle, finishing them in showmanship and in hand trail. Yearling handling, hauling frequent to ARHA shows. Horses who need confidence building! And horses and owners who need around to build a partnership together!

I have experience showing in ARHA, APHC, and AQHA, including competing in the Illinois Ranch Horse Futurities and the Iowa Quarter Horse Futurities and experience in the All Around Pleasure horses!

My program is built on working your horse from the ground up and creating a solid foundation. Whether your goal is to get your young horse into the show pen or develop a confident partnership with your horse, I may be able to help!

Here, your horse’s care and well-being always come first. Our facility offers:

• 10x12 stalls
• Indoor and outdoor arenas
• A wash rack
• Group turnout and individual turnout options
• Quality forage/feed program
•Tack locker for each training horse

I’d love to chat with you about your horse and your goals! Please feel free to send me a PM or call/text me at (224) 642-9645.

I look forward to meeting you and your horse! 🐴

What a year and past summer it’s been! These last two shows (futurities) of the year have been shows that were a year in the making with Bugatti! Almost a year ago I picked up a yearling from Hockenson Quarter Horses and the instant I met him I knew he was a doe eyed great minded horse. He’s been nothing but that this last year! This has been one of the most easiest horses I’ve ever dealt with my whole career so far. He doesn’t question a single thing you ask him to do and he is a little horse with a TON of try! I am so proud of last weekend in Iowa placing 13th out of 55 and brought home a $611 check. Now this weekend at the ILRHA Futurity we placed overall 6th place out of 44 horses bringing home a check of $844 dollars! I am so proud of this horse and proud of myself despite the year we had we went out and made the thang happen! Bugatti has a total of $3,255 in lifetime earnings and I couldn’t be more excited to accomplish more! I’d love to talk about getting your 2 year old ready for the ranch Futurity’s next year!

As this year was a tough start so far I truly believe there’s a super bright future and so much to look forward too. This little c**t is going to do some amazing things in his future and I’m so grateful to be able to even sit on a horse of his quality let alone own. To say I’m stoked for the futurities this year is an understatement!! We’ve done tons of trail riding this year and really are building such a great foundation on this c**t and I look forward to more showing this year!!! A big thanks to Hockenson Quarter Horses for creating such a kind and good minded c**t! This horse will reach the stars! ⭐️
