4 The Animals Rescue inc. is dedicated to helping advocate, re-home and care for animals. Our rescue and sanctuary is located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

4 the Animals Rescue has been privately run by Dr. Sarah Gordon, her husband Joel Bernstein since 2005. With the help of family and friends, many abandoned, abused, hurt animals were transported; mothers with puppies found their forever homes and medical cases were taken in and treated. In March 2016, 4 the Animals Rescue, finally received 501(c) 3 status and is now officially operated as a n

on-profit rescue. With this, we can accept donations and hold fundraisers that will allow us to continue to do what we love. We strive to monthly transport animals, but also work closely with other rescues and animal advocates in assisting with networking homeless animals all over north-east Oklahoma.

Meet beautiful Lucy! 🐾💚

Lucy is a sweet girl who loves attention and would love to have people of her own to soak up all that affection. Unfortunately, she just isn’t happy in her current living situation. Her family loves her very much, and as difficult as this decision is, they feel Lucy would be happier in a home with fewer animals where she can feel more comfortable and get the attention she loves.

Just look at that gorgeous face! 😍 We’d love to help Lucy find a home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be the sweet, loved girl she is.

⭐️ Update: We are happy to announce that Kitty was adopted!

Meet Kitty! 🐾

This sweet girl is looking for a home to call her own. ❤️

Kitty is about 4–5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. She started out as a stray in the neighborhood and is currently staying with a very kind temporary foster family who is unable to keep her long term.

Kitty is a sweet girl who might need a little patience and time to settle in and feel safe. Give her the chance to adjust at her own pace, and we think she’ll make a wonderful companion.

Everyone has a comfort item, and for One, it’s her beloved Lamby. 🐑💕

She carries Lamby around everywhere she goes, and it’s easy to see just how much she treasures it. One is incredibly gentle with her favorite friend, and has never tried to rip or tear her apart.

It’s one of those little things that makes One so special. Beneath all that playful energy is a sweet, affectionate pup with a soft side that’s impossible not to love.

Meet One 🐾❤️

She used to be called One Dot because of the adorable little tan dot on her back… but these days she’s simply One. And she is definitely one of a kind.

This happy girl is full of energy, loves to play, and is always ready for her next adventure. She’s great with other dogs, does well with kids, and would love a family that can keep up with her fun-loving personality.

Wondering about cats? We haven’t introduced her to one yet, but we’re happy to do a cat test if that’s important for your home.

Speaking of pet adoption…

🐾 Meet Prim! 🐾

Looking for a fun-loving best friend? Prim might just be your perfect match!

Prim is a Boxer mix, and while we’re not sure what she’s mixed with, her Boxer personality shines through! She’s got that classic Boxer squishy face, goofy antics, and happy-go-lucky attitude that are impossible not to love.

This sweet girl has done well around a variety of other dogs. She can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds but really gets along well with most everyone at the shelter, and even has a buddy named Ollie.

Prim is also:
❤️ Leash trained
❤️ Crate trained
❤️ Knows basic commands
❤️ Great with children
❤️ Very food and treat motivated, making continued training a breeze!

She’s an affectionate, happy dog who is ready to bring laughter, love, and plenty of goofy charm into her forever home.

To our amazing community,

Right now, our rescue is at capacity. Every kennel, foster space, and resource is dedicated to the animals currently in our care. Because of this, we are unable to accept additional intakes at this time.

Our biggest need right now is adoptions.

Every dog and cat in our rescue deserves a loving forever home, and every adoption gives one of our current residents the happy ending they’ve been waiting for.

Rhonda is wondering if you’re the family she’s been waiting a whole year for? She looks towards the front gates every time she hears a car. She is ready for her forever home. She is approximately 3-4 yrs, spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped. Good with other dogs, children and ready to experience the true family lifestyle💜🐾

This cat is down at the very end of 20th very close to the rescue. Does not seem very skittish as if it’s a pet that maybe got out.
