Mary's Dogs WELCOME to our community! We find forever homes for dogs when they arrive at our New Hampshire facility and receive all necessary health certificates.

Through cooperation with our close-knit rescue partners in the south, Mary's Dogs Rescue & Adoption staff, volunteers, Board members, and adoptive families in New England effect a three-fold mission:

1. We actively support the efforts of our rescue partners who work to reduce the number of homeless dogs by rescuing dogs off the streets and from shelters, and who raise awareness of canine health issues, and spay and neuter programs.

2. We ensure excellent supportive and medical care of rescued dogs throughout the adoption process and follow up with families after dogs are placed in their homes. Through every step of the rescue and adoption, connections are made between people, cultures, and dogs. Our community is extremely grateful for the supportive network that embraces us.

Exeter Subaru’s cutest welcoming committee clocks in at 4:00 PM today!

Magpie, Chip, Gully, Prince, and Scrappy will be there. They’ll leave the car sales to the humans and focus on greeting visitors and checking pockets for treats.

Stop by to meet them, enjoy some puppy snuggles, and get to know these five pups who are still looking for families. ❤️

It’s Make a Dog’s Day, and I have to tell you, I had a pretty perfect day. I went to the beach!

There was sand to dig in, waves to splash through, and sunshine to soak up. So many new smells, so much exploring to do, and absolutely no one asking me to fill my holes back in. I could get used to this beach life!

It got me thinking… when I have a family, I think EVERY day will be Make a Dog’s Day. We’ll start with a pup cup, obviously. I’ll make sure nobody forgets that part. Then we’ll head out for an adventure together. More beach days would be wonderful, but I love exploring new places, too!

Some days, we’ll just play in our own yard. I don’t need a big outing to be happy. Getting to spend time with my people will be pretty special all by itself.

And we’ll end the day snuggled up together, with you telling me I’m a good girl. I’m happy to hear that as many times as you’d like to say it. And did you see how cute I look when I’m sleeping? Just imagine that little face next to you.

I’m still looking for that family. A beach day made me happy, but having people of my very own? That would FOR SURE make my day. ❤️

We’ll have FOUR opportunities for you to spend some time with our adoptable dogs. We’re hoping a few of those hellos turn into “that’s my dog!”

I’ve been to family farms, car dealerships (thanks, Exeter Subaru), playdates, and outings. At this point, I should probably have a business card. 😂

I’m Gully, and my friends say I’ve rocked every single one! They also call me “a true gem.” Sweet, calm, and a lover of everyone. I’m not going to argue with such an excellent review!

I’ve really enjoyed getting out and meeting people, but I’m still waiting for one introduction: my family. ❤️

More outings together would be great. I'd also love the part where we go home together afterward.

Their Project Yearbook 2026 Best of the Best Contest supports three charitable partners, including Mary’s Dogs. We’re grateful to be included and thankful to everyone casting votes to support the work we do! ❤️

Prince has a plan to bring in more volunteers: extra snuggles and kisses for everyone! Send a new volunteer our way, and he’ll happily take care of the thank-you. ❤️

With new pups arriving Friday, we could use some extra help caring for the dogs at 12 Commerce Way in Barrington, NH.

New volunteers are welcome! We’ll train you during your first shift, so you don’t need experience to get started.

Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Bringing someone over 14 along to help? Reserve two slots so we know you’re both coming.

Now he’d like to help your business get a little attention, too!

We’re still accepting vendor applications for our Run for the Dogs 5K on Sunday, November 1st!

Join us to meet local families, share what you do, and introduce your business to runners, walkers, and fellow dog lovers, all while supporting Mary’s Dogs.

We’re also welcoming raffle donations! A gift card, product, or gift basket is another way to introduce people to your business and lend a paw to our pups.

Scrappy hit the trail for a day out and had so much to be proud of!

She walked beautifully on leash with no pulling, taking time to sniff along the way but happily moving along when asked. She enjoyed seeing people and was friendly with a few kids who stopped to say hello!

Even when a few other dogs on the trail had a lot to say, Scrappy kept walking by without a problem. Such a good girl!

Her trail buddy described her as “super sweet and very well-mannered.” We loved hearing what a great day they had together!

Now we’d love to help her find someone to enjoy many more days like this with. Reach out to our adoption team to learn more about Scrappy!

There will be some new faces at Mary’s Dogs this weekend! Our newest pups arrive on Friday, joining the dogs already here waiting to meet their families.

We’ll be holding Open Adoptions for approved adopters on Monday, October 26th. If you’re ready to meet our pups, please reach out to our adoption team to schedule a time to visit!

Not approved yet? We’d love to help you get the process started! Our approvals are not dog-specific and are good for one year.

We’re looking forward to meeting you and helping you find your new best friend!
