Chocolate, xylitol, and raisins are all dangerous for pets, and candy wrappers can cause problems of their own. Keep the stash somewhere your pet cannot reach, and remind the kids to do the same.

This week, October 18–24, we're celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who dedicate their days to caring for the animals we all love!

This year's theme, "Endless Compassion, Expert Care," perfectly captures what our veterinary technicians bring to the hospital every day. From monitoring anesthesia and assisting with treatments to offering a comforting hand (or a few extra snuggles!), their knowledge, skill, and compassion are at the heart of excellent patient care. 🩺

While this week is dedicated to recognizing our amazing veterinary technicians, we also want to give a HUGE shoutout to our ENTIRE veterinary team! ❤️

Our doctors, veterinary technicians, and client service representatives work together every day to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families. From the exam room to the front desk, every role matters, and every team member makes a difference!

They comfort nervous patients, monitor anesthesia, are your lab-work technicians, surgical nurses, dental hygienists, and somehow still find a way to make everyone feel cared for, pets and people alike. We would be lost without them.
