We wanted to make a post to remind everyone to be careful when looking for puppies online!
Unfortunately, we’ve come across multiple accounts that are stealing our C & S Farms photos and videos and posting them as their own to advertise puppies. We’ve attached a few screenshots so everyone can see what we’re talking about.
It’s frustrating to see our puppies being used to potentially scam families who are just looking to bring home a new puppy.
We also want to make it clear that these are our ONLY social media accounts:
- Facebook: C & S Farms
- Instagram: .s.farms.springers
- TikTok: .s.farms.springers
If you see our photos or videos being posted by other accounts claiming the puppies are theirs, please know they are NOT associated with us!
We also wanted to share a few tips for anyone looking for a puppy, whether it’s from us or another breeder!
1. Ask to FaceTime or video chat with the breeder and see the puppies in real time.
2. Look at how long their social media accounts have been active. Are they consistently posting updates of their dogs and litters, or just random puppy photos?
3. Ask about health testing on the parents and request proof!
4. Be cautious of accounts posting puppies in multiple different states or offering puppies for unusually cheap prices.
5. Ask for references from previous puppy families.
Never feel pressured to send a deposit before you’ve verified that the breeder and puppies are real.
Just because someone has pictures and videos of puppies doesn’t mean those puppies belong to them!
