Fogo the dog Fogo the dog was born in the island nation of Cape Verde off the coast of West Africa. He moved to Cape Cod where he lives with his loving family.

Fogo likes to run. Fogo loves to run. Sometimes he runs away but he always comes home.

As you can see Fogo was thrilled to be celebrating his 14th birthday yesterday.

Fogo's DNA results are in. He is certainly of mixed heritage but highlights include 12 percent English springer spaniel and 25 percent Catahoula leopard dog. Fogo may have been born in Cape Verde, West Africa, but at least some of his ancestors are from the bayou. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
