Horse friends!! I have a lovely Percheron Cross gelding at my farm in Barnesville who is looking for an on the farm lease! He has had just clicker training for years now, so would be great for anyone clicker-curious, or clicker-saavy, but is a very versatile and kind confidence building dude. This Percheron cross gentleman is as kind as he is comfortable to sit on—and would make someone a lovely confidence-building partner.
Gus is very clicker-savvy and loves to learn, making him a fun and rewarding partner. He has been in full training at Misty Step for the past 5 months, building R+ consistency under saddle in the arena. He has just begun exploring the beautiful 50-acre property and doing his easiest behaviors while out and about! On the ground he also knows many behaviors, including buoy target, going to a mat, kicking a ball, going over poles, targeting his body to the saddle, mounting block, or girth, and loves to learn more!
With his generous trusting personality, Gus would shine as a trail partner for any patient rider. He is engaged, but polite for training, and feels exceptionally safe to be around for groundwork. He would also be a wonderful candidate for someone interested in participating in the R+ Show at Misty Step this September.
A full lease is preferred, though a half lease may be considered for the right match.
