'But I don’t want my pet in a kennel all day…’ — and honestly, we understand that feeling. 🐾

Seeing your pet in a kennel during their hospital stay can feel a little scary or sad from the outside, but kennels are an important part of keeping our patients safe, comfortable, and closely monitored while they’re with us. Whether they’re recovering from a procedure, receiving treatments, or just needing a quiet place to rest, their kennel helps give them a calm and secure environment.

What you don’t always see are the chin scratches, cuddle breaks, soft conversations, treats, walks, cozy blankets, and all the extra love sprinkled throughout the day. 💕 We make it a priority to spend time with our patients beyond their medical care because comfort matters too.

This sweet kitty was soaking up some extra attention while staying with us and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐱

Gatsby came in for his neuter today and has been spending recovery supervising the treatment area from his VIP suite. 🐾👀

When we have multiple larger patients in the hospital, we sometimes use this gated recovery area so everyone can stay comfortable while still being closely monitored by our team throughout the day. It allows us to safely keep larger pets nearby where we can continuously watch their recovery, comfort, and behavior after surgery.

Between his monitoring, medications, snack negotiations, and making sure every staff member stopped for attention, Gatsby had a very busy recovery day. ✨

We’d say he’s recovering well… but based on this face, he believes he should probably be carried everywhere for the rest of the evening.

Safety first, style second. 😎✨

This cool kid is rocking their Doggles during cold laser therapy to help protect their eyes from the treatment light. While the laser is therapeutic and non-invasive, proper eye protection is important for both pets and staff during sessions.

Bonus: patients wearing Doggles instantly gain +10 confidence and become legally cooler than the rest of us. 🐾

Check out this neat before and after images of a stenotic nares surgery (alarplasty)! This procedure is performed on brachycephalic breeds (i.e.- Pugs, Bulldogs, Frenchies). This is a rather simple procedure that heals well within approximately 2 weeks that can improve stamina, better breathing, reduced snoring, and an overall increase in their quality of life
