The babies from all 3 litters are 3 wks old as of today! The litters are all mixed together since I had to foster some babies from 1 litter to a different momma because she had so many, and then noticed I had 6 or 7 babies between 2 nest boxes that weren't getting enough milk. So I put them all in 1 nest box and put them with one momma so she could just focus on them while the other 2 took care of the bigger babies. All 3 are wonderful first time moms, and they all fostered babies from the other litters with no issues.

Well, we had some slightly unexpected additions to the household born this week lol we realized about 3 weeks ago that one of our cats was pregnant, and due very soon. She had 5 sweet babies- 3 black, 1 gray, and 1 tortie (spoken for). So, if you or anyone you know is wanting a kitten in 8 weeks 4 will be available.

All 21 babies have their eyes open now! They will all be 2 weeks old by Monday, and have already started getting curious...

I had 3 first timers kindle just over a week ago. All 3 have been wonderful first time moms with only 3 lost between them out of 24. These babies are all just meat mutts, so I'm not sure whether they will be for sale when they get older, or if we will use them to fill our own freezer. In the meantime we get to enjoy cute baby bunny pics šŸ„°

So, what's the market looking like for Silvers? Do people like to show them? Keep as pets? Breed for meat (they are on the smaller side, so I can't see myself personally doing that)? I picked up a breeding trio recently out of curiosity, but I never see anyone talking about them. I don't know much about the breed, but I would love to know more info about them!

I've got some babies ready to go now, and some that will be ready soon. I still have 1 pedigreed ch*****ne doe, 1 flemish x ch*****ne doe, and 8 pedigreed American Chinchillas (does & bucks) all ready to go NOW. In the next 3 weeks I will have 1 fawn and 2 opal standard rex babies looking for homes. I will try to get pictures soon, but if you're interested in any of them just DM me for more info!

Miss Sophia is due in 2 days with her very first litter. She is exhausted! She decided to take a much needed nap after the excitement of the bunny barn getting cleaned today lol she is a large girl, so I bred her to my young conti Ruben. Babies will be tamuk x conti. I also have a possible rex x chin litter and a chin x ch*****ne litter due in 9 days!
