πŸ‚ Fall is here! As the weather turns, our Emergency & Critical Care team wants 3 seasonal hazards on your radar for your dogs and cats:

Wild Mushrooms: Damp autumn soil causes mushrooms to pop up quickly in yards and along trails. Many species cause severe GI distress, neurological signs, or organ damage.

Rodenticides & Antifreeze: Fall garage prep increases pet exposure to dangerous poisons. Rodent baits and sweet-tasting antifreeze are lethal even in tiny amounts.

Acorns & Buckeyes: Swallowing acorns or buckeyes can lead to severe vomiting, diarrhea, tannin toxicity, or painful intestinal blockages.

🚨 Emergency Note: If you suspect your pet has ingested any toxic substance, seek emergency care immediately.

Drop a 🍁 in the comments if your pet is ready for cooler weather!
