Hello Everybody! Figured we would check in...
A huge Thank You to everybody who send update pics for the puppies on the 6 month check up..I love seeing those babies grow up!
We are still in Bandon thru winter, in familiar territory and its simply taking way longer to get needed business done before hitting the road. Takes way longer than imagined to get any work done, mechanic maintenance and upgrades, than it used to. There is also some other business that is taking a bit longer than anticipated to resolved. So we slowed our roll a bit.
Between the nasty winter weather, the price of gas and then the world going nuts.. we are in no huge hurry to leave our corner of the world....just yet. Oregon is absolutely gorgeous, and there are plenty of places to visit here while we get ready for a longer haul.
So we are basically doing a huge re-set of our daily routines and practices. Beau and Iris are LOVING this life! Get walkies all the time, special food and treats, living up close and personal with Mom, we are all 3 attached at the hip..The best part? Iris LOVES spying on all the activity in the RV park! It is hysterical to watch her watch everything that moves out the windows.
Iris, who had ZERO leash time prior to this adventure, has done very well learning how to walk well on the leash. Beau had more leash time and he is more mellow...he has always pretty easy to walk. Iris has also decided she likes getting pets from new people that she meets and has become a lot more social. Had to get a cheap lil bark collar to slow her yapping as its intimidating to non-Dane folks, she got the Memo and has toned it down.
Our biggest challenge so far...When Beau gets the Zoomies in the RV! Holy Cow! Its hysterical...couple of zoomy circles on the bed, run thru the hall..another couple circles on the couch or middle of the living room, and back again until he is exhausted..entire motorhome rocking..me yelling.."Dont Break the House!"...😆
Looking forward to our new adventures..but also happy we have this time to adapt and get things put in order prior to taking longer trips. Lots of changes.. But, living in an RV with 2 Great Danes? Totally do-able!
