At 97, she got back in the saddle and ticked a dream off her bucket list. 🐴❤️
For anyone who has loved horses, it’s easy to understand why this moment would mean so much. The feel of the reins in your hands, the warmth of a horse beneath you, and that familiar view between two ears — some things stay with you, however many years pass.
Getting older doesn’t mean we stop wanting the experiences that make us feel most like ourselves. Sometimes, a wish still waiting to be fulfilled is a chance to do something we once loved, just one more time.
What a beautiful reminder to listen when someone tells us what they still dream of doing — and, where we can, help make it possible.
