Whether you have a large dairy herd that needs a hoof trimmer on a regular schedule or just need the back yard per cow trimmed we can help.

The weekend calendar is filling fast! There are only two more for sure weekends that John is looking to fill with customers for trimming small groups. Saturday November 7th and if needed Sunday November 8th a trip to northern Wisconsin, Northwestern Minnesota, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
On November 14th and if needed the 15th a trip will be made to southern Wisconsin.
Even if you think you’re on the list and John will contact you please message or call to verify so your cows are not overlooked.
These will be the last trip planned until early spring.
Cost may vary depending on how many cows/stops can be booked. Right now most likely there will be a minimum stop/setup charge around $250 and $25 per head.

Don’t wait till you cows hooves look like the ones in the photo. Contact MSHT today to schedule your hoof trimming/hoof inspections. Just like you going to the doctor for a regular check up, your cows should be regularly checked over by a hoof care professional.

Well today was the day, the chute that was built here in 2018 for another trimmer, then when he retired in June we bought it and brought it back to Wisconsin, finally got most of its new bells and whistles and went trimming today. John took off at 4am, drove nearly 600 miles, trimmed hooves for 6 different customers, and returned at 9pm a very happy trimmer. The chute worked great, will get a couple more small things done to it and be used 3-4 days every week.

With Chris moving to Thorp it has given MSHT a chance to once again expand. If your in the greater Thorp area Chris would be pleased to talk with you about a hoof care program for your herd, wether you have one cow or 5000.

UPDATE this trimming trip has been pushed back until Saturday, September 12th!!!

I’m looking for a few more cow hooves to trim along the blues lines next Saturday September 5th. Please contact us before Monday Evening so I can plan accordingly.

Saturday, September 5th, John will be heading to the Northeast, including the UP. This may be that last trip northeast this year so don’t hesitate to message the page/call/text if your near the blue lines marked on the map.
