🚒🐾 Happy National Fire Pup Day! ❤️🔥

Dalmatians may be the iconic firehouse pups… historically running alongside horse-drawn fire carriages and helping guard the horses and equipment. But today we’re celebrating all the incredible dogs who have worked alongside firefighters🐶❤️

From beloved firehouse companions to hardworking search-and-rescue pups, today is for every four-legged hero. 🐾🚒

Extra treats and belly rubs all around! ❤️

Sometimes a little sedation = a safer, less stressful experience🐾❤️

We know hearing that your pet may need sedation can feel a little scary. Please know that sedation is never one-size-fits-all. Our veterinary team evaluates each patient individually and chooses the safest approach based on their health, needs, comfort level, and the procedure being performed.

For some pets, mild sedation helps them relax enough for us to safely place an IV catheter without unnecessary fear, stress, or repeated attempts💉

Throughout the process, your pet is closely monitored, and oxygen support is provided as needed🫁✨ Our team is right there with them every step of the way!

Our goal is never to sedate simply for convenience. It’s to make necessary care as safe, gentle, and comfortable as possible for your pet. ❤️🐶🐱

When your pet can’t tell us what’s wrong… sometimes we have to do a little detective work!🕵️‍♀️🐾

X-rays let us take a peek at what’s happening on the inside, from bones and joints to the chest and abdomen, and can help us find answers we simply can’t see from the outside🐶🐱

Because in vet med, sometimes you have to look a little deeper 🩻

A gentle wake-up after her spay🐱💕

As our sweet patient begins waking from anesthesia, her breathing tube is carefully removed once she’s ready.

We stay close by to monitor her and keep her safe and comfortable as she recovers🩺🐾
