🐾💗 Sweet Sadie 💗🐾

Sadie recently had a digit amputation performed by Dr. Havemann at Rock Spring Veterinary Clinic.

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing Sadie for other procedures in the past, so she’s no stranger. While this certainly wasn’t the reason we hoped to see our sweet friend again, we’re always happy to be part of Sadie’s care team. 🥰

💙 Meet Ace! 💙

Ace is a sweet pup who recently underwent bilateral MPL correction with Dr. Havemann at Rock Spring Veterinary Clinic. 🐶✨

Although he had a big procedure, he was wagging his tail as soon as he woke up from anesthesia!

There are many reasons we love the veterinary field, but helping sweet patients like Ace, are definitely at the top of the list! 🐶❤️

Charlie ❤️ 🐾

There’s just something about Charlie that makes everyone smile. ❤️ His sweet nature, gentle personality, and those puppy-dog eyes have made him a firm favorite with everyone at Falls Road Animal Hospital.

Charlie recently had a very large mass removed, and while removing the mass was an important step, there was another challenge left behind: a lot of empty space where the mass had been. That is where a Jackson-Pratt (JP) drain can be very helpful. That little bulb on his right side may look intimidating, but it has an important job! 🩺

After a large mass removal, fluid can accumulate in the space that was previously occupied by the mass. A JP drain is a type of active suction drain that is used to remove fluid from a surgical site, helping prevent excessive fluid from accumulating in that large surgical space and giving tissues time to heal and seal down properly.

🐾 Milo is serving serious post-op confidence! 😏✨

After undergoing a bilateral TPLO with Dr. Havemann, Milo is already perfecting his recovery... and working that camera 😍

While his knees are taking it easy, his charm is working overtime. With plenty of rest, rehabilitation, and lots of love, Milo is on his way to getting back to all of his favorite adventures.

A big day for Yuri! 🐶💙

Dr. Havemann performed a bilateral MPL (medial patellar luxation) correction surgery to help restore comfort and stability to both of Yuri's knees.

🐾 A big round of ap-paws for Knox! 🐾

We met Knox at Falls Road Animal Hospital after he had suffered a radius/ulna fracture. Dr. Havemann performed a fracture repair to restore proper alignment and stability to his leg.

Fractures like these require expert surgical care and a dedicated recovery plan to help our patients get back to doing what they love. Knox was incredibly brave throughout the process, and we couldn't be prouder 💖
