It’s National ! 🩺🐾 From preparing medications and assisting with procedures to monitoring animals and providing hands-on care, our veterinary technicians play an essential role in keeping the zoo residents healthy. So much of their work happens behind the scenes, and we’re grateful for the skill, dedication, and care they bring to their patients every single day! ❤️

The first Kaiser Kids' Days presented by Kaiser Permanente was a hit! Scavenger hunts, a teddy bear clinic, craft stations, animal outposts, and a mind-blowing bubble show (seriously, it’s awesome).

Kids Day activities generated movement, creativity, and discovery throughout the Zoo. If you want to experience the next one on October 30, here’s all you have to do… nothing!

Kids Days are free with Zoo admission or membership, thanks to our partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
