Update : we have two potential fosters and a backup Foster. The sweet little pup with the injured leg is safe and will be coming All Shepherd Rescue as soon as possible.

We don’t know the extent of our injuries yet but we will keep everyone updated.

Urgent / Foster needed

: sweet GSD mix puppy with injured leg to be euthanized Friday by shelter @5 pm without rescue.

( Shelter does not have the resources to provide the necessary medical intervention & aftercare )

Gentle with people & dogs ( look how sweet she is in the video 😢) . She was as stray so we don’t know much about her.

Please join us on Saturday to enjoy the beautiful weather and meet the adorable adoptable pets that will be available! We have free raffle prizes, balloons, temporary tattoos, reusable tote bags, give aways from local vendors and more!!! The MARINES will also be there selling hot dogs and soda! This family fun event is worth checking out, please mark your calendars!

Every rescue dog has a story. Gia’s next chapter could start with you! Gia was found as a stray and was temporarily taken care of by a group of neighbors. After an unsuccessful search for her owner, she ended up at an overcrowded shelter and was unfortunately running out of time. ASR stepped in and brought her to Maryland, saving her life. Now she needs her forever home!

Gia is friendly and social. She walks well on a leash too! She’s playful and affectionate, and is quite the love bug! Gia does well with dogs as well.

Look at that happy smile! Meet Melody! Located in Maryland, Melody is an affectionate, happy, social girl just waiting for someone to choose her & take her home!

Melody loves people and enjoys spending time with other dogs, too! At just a year old, she’s still very much a big, happy puppy with lots of playful energy. Because she’s an enthusiastic 80 pound girl who doesn’t always realize her size, we think she’d do best in a home with older children.

She’s smart and eager to please! She even does well in the car, making her a great adventure companion.

This is what rescue can do. ❤️

Berkeley came to ASR with a deep ear infection that had likely been untreated for a long time, along with skin issues that left him uncomfortable and unsure. He was reserved and would flinch when touched.He looked ( and probably was) miserable :-(

After just a few weeks of vet care, ear treatment, medicated baths by dedicated volunteers , and good food, the difference is amazing. His coat is shiny and bright, his ears are up, and best of all, he now leans in for ear scratches and petting.

Berkeley is feeling better — and it shows. He is becoming the happy, friendly dog he was always meant to be.

Berkeley is ready to find his forever home.....great with dogs and people , cats unknown 🐾

Berkeley has come such a long way since ASR pulled him from the shelter. ❤️
His ear infections were so deep seated, he wouldn’t let anyone even pat his head or give him a treat.
Now look at him……😊
His eyes are full of such love and trust and excitement over the treats:-)
