Hi hi! Happy October! 🎃 👻 🐶

October is my birthday month and I would love to raise money for The Humane Society of Greater Miami Dog Enrichment program. While in Miami, I was able to volunteer walking dogs and foster with MDAS and The Humane Society and I truly fell in love. The Humane Society holds a special place in my heart- being able to see the amazing work the shelter is able to do in a time when shelters all over the country, especially ones in the South are in crisis mode from being under funded and over capacity.

I would love to raise funds to help the enrichment department continue providing daily enrichment to each pup as they await their forever homes. These funds would provide enrichment toys, treats, support special field trip outings, and more which helps ease the shelter stress.

Each donation, no matter the size, will bring joy to the pups.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to the family, please check out your local shelters and rescues! ⁣

Can’t adopt? No problem! There are other ways to help out. ⁣
🐶 fostering- did you know that dogs that spend time in a foster home are up to 14 times more likely to get adopted compared to dogs that remain in shelter kennels? ⁣
🐶 volunteering - volunteers are ALWAYS needed! a beautiful way to give back and meet some amazing pets and humans along the way ⁣
🐶 barks around town - take a pup out for a day date! this helps give pups a break from the shelter and find their humans cruising around town. (appointments are needed - link in bio)⁣

Ares came back to the Podcast with some pretty incredible news… he found his forever home. 🥹🐾
When Ares first joined Goldie & Frenchie, he was still looking for a family. His adopter was originally only supposed to foster him, but they fell in love and decided to keep him!

All over the country shelters are facing a crisis of being at maximum capacity due to an increase in owner surrenders, strays, accidental litters, and cases of animal abuse, cruelty, and neglect. ⁣

Ares no longer will be recognized by A1879558, he has been adopted… by me!

Ares was suppose to go on transport to New Hampshire, however it kept getting delayed. As the sweetest senior potato boy, I couldn’t let him go to another shelter as a senior. He will also be learning what seasons are, we are moving to Denver!

Only the best for this sweet boy going forward. 🐶🩵
