🐾🌍🏆 It's World Dog Show Day! 🏆🌍🐾

Today we're celebrating one of the biggest events in the dog world! The World Dog Show 2026 takes place June 3–7 in Bologna, Italy, bringing together thousands of dogs, handlers, breeders, and dog lovers from around the globe to showcase the very best in canine excellence. 🐶✨

At Kennelwood, our love for dogs goes beyond pet care. For more than 50 years, we've been committed to educating both our staff and our community about responsible pet ownership and the incredible bond between dogs and their people.

That's why one of the favorite activities in our Junior Pet Care Summer Camp is Dog Show Day! Campers learn about the world of dog shows before stepping into the roles of both handlers and judges. As handlers, they practice pet care and handling skills. As judges, they develop public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence while explaining their placements and often adding a little humor along the way. It's one of our Education Team's favorite camp traditions!

Whether competing on the world stage or simply being a beloved family companion, every dog is a champion in our eyes. ❤️🐾
