Roxy’s The Strutting Pooch has served local pets and their families for more than 10 years. We connect trusted independent pet-care professionals with wonderful clients while supporting the details behind the scenes.

You provide the excellent pet care. We help with:

- Finding and communicating with clients
- Appointment coordination and scheduling
- Marketing and business support
- A trusted local name behind your services
- Support when questions or unusual situations arise

As an independent contractor, you control your availability and decide which assignments fit your schedule.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has professional dog-walking, pet-sitting, veterinary, grooming, training, or animal-care experience
- Is dependable, responsible, and an excellent communicator
- Understands that pets and their families are counting on every confirmed visit
- Has reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Is comfortable traveling to clients’ homes in the Ballston Spa–Saratoga area
- Takes pride in building long-term relationships with pets and their owners
- Is available for some weekends, holidays, or vacation periods—a major plus

This is best suited to an established or aspiring pet-care professional who wants ongoing opportunities—not someone seeking an occasional one-day gig.

Pet of the Month: Willow 🐾

Meet Willow, our beautiful Siamese and this month's Pet of the Month! 💕 With her gorgeous looks and sweet personality, Willow has a special way of making everyone at The Strutting Pooch smile.

Willow absolutely loves her Strutting Pooch Team and is always happy to spend time with her favorite people. Of course, no visit is complete without plenty of butt scratches—one of Willow's favorite forms of attention!

When she's not enjoying some quality time with her sitters, Willow can often be found settling in for her favorite show: Bird TV! 🐦📺 She could watch those feathered friends for hours.

We're so lucky to have this beautiful girl as part of The Strutting Pooch family. Keep enjoying those scratches and Bird TV, Willow—you deserve all the attention! ❤️

Harvey is available for adoption!

How do you like Harvey's glow-up?

He arrived at Roxy's The Strutting Pooch with a coat best described as "before." After a bath and a haircut, he emerged clean and still appropriately scruffy around the edges.

A big thank you to Robin, one of our fabulous volunteers, for Harvey's glow-up— and to Roxys The Strutting pooch for once again donating the space.

Harvey is currently accepting compliments and adoption applications. Apply if you'd like to meet this sweet 4-year-old terrier mix.
