Official Welcome to June Post! ☀️
Today marks the official launch of our "Summer Survival" month!
As the temperatures are expected to rise more steadily this time of year, it’s time to rethink our daily routines for the summer. We're talking about learning how to transition our pets' high-energy activities to the cooler parts of the day so they stay safe, healthy, and happy all season long.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing advice on everything from paw care and water safety to grooming and storm anxiety.
A rough outline of our action plan:
🌅 Beat the Sun: Try to shift your long walks or park visits to before 8:00 AM or after 7:00 PM.
🌡️ Check the Forecast: Get into the habit of checking the "Real Feel" temperature, not just the number on the thermometer.
💧 Hydration First: Start carrying a portable water bottle on every single outing, even short ones!
📣 Quick Human PSA: While you’re packing that extra water for your pup, don't forget your own water bottle! Keeping both ends of the leash hydrated is the best way to beat the heat together. 🥤
We are ready to help you navigate the heat! Are you a "Morning Warrior" or a "Sunset Stroller"? Let us know your preferred walk time in the comments below! 🐾👇
