Owner of High9 Equine and The Cowkids Club, Kellie Todd tells us why she does what she does:

"Over the years, I’ve watched so many kids go from nervous beginners to confident riders and young horsewomen. Some now own horses, compete regularly, help younger students, or have simply found a place where they feel confident and comfortable.

That’s always been the goal here.

Not just barrel racing lessons, but teaching kids how to ride correctly, care for horses, work hard, build confidence, and truly enjoy the western lifestyle.

One thing I’m really proud of is that families don’t need to own a horse to get involved here. We have great horses available for lessons and competition, and most of our races are hosted right at our farm which makes things so much easier and more fun for our students and families.

Summer is one of my favorite times at the barn, and I’m so thankful for everyone who has supported this program over the years. Excited for another summer ahead 🤍"
