New location. New website. Same great training. 🐾

Building the bond may look a little different these days, but Peanut’s Pet Care is still built around the same goal: helping dogs and their people better understand each other.

Our move to Ball Ground has given us the opportunity to focus completely on dog training, expand what we offer, and build something even better for our clients and their dogs.

Our brand-new website is now live with information about private training, group classes, behavior modification, puppy training, pricing, and more.

Check it out and let us know what you think!

🐾 New Rescue Adoption Discount!

Every dog I've ever had the privilege of owning has been a rescue.

Because of that, helping newly adopted dogs and their families get off to a great start has always been important to me. Bringing home a new dog is exciting, but it can also come with a lot of questions and challenges. A little training early on can make a huge difference in building confidence, communication, and a lifelong bond.

I'm excited to introduce a new Rescue Adoption Discount at Peanut's Pet Care!

Dogs adopted from a recognized shelter or rescue organization within the past 6 months are eligible for $25 off their first Basic Obedience Group Class.

Our five-week class focuses on practical, real-world skills, including:
🐶 Sit and down
🐶 Place
🐶 Loose-leash walking
🐶 Recall
🐶 Focus and engagement around distractions
🐶 Better communication and everyday manners

If you've recently welcomed a rescue into your family, I'd love to help you both get started on the right paw.

Group classes are officially here! 🐾

This has been a goal of mine for a long time, and after months of planning, building, and preparing our new training space, I'm excited to officially open enrollment for Peanut's Pet Care's first Basic Obedience Group Class.

Whether you're starting with a young dog or simply looking to build a stronger foundation, this 5-week course is designed to teach practical, real-world obedience skills while strengthening the relationship between you and your dog.

Throughout the course, you'll work on:
🐾 Sit
🐾 Down
🐾 Place
🐾 Loose-Leash Walking
🐾 Recall
🐾 Leave It
🐾 ...and more!

To make sure every team receives plenty of individual coaching, our small group classes are limited to just six dogs.

📅 Class begins July 25.

Registration is officially open!

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a quick update about Peanut’s Pet Care.

In the coming weeks, my wife and I will be moving to Ball Ground, GA. Along with the move, Peanut’s Pet Care will be shifting focus to dog training only, with more details coming soon.

At this time, pet care services (sitting, drop-ins, walks) will be discontinued as I transition into this next chapter. While I’m leaving the door open, the focus moving forward will be training-based services.

The new property will allow me to offer things I couldn’t before, including private training sessions on-site and a variety of tailored group classes. I’m still in the planning/setup phase, but I’ll be sharing more information as everything comes together.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Peanut’s Pet Care over the years. I truly appreciate it. Stay tuned for updates, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to be notified when training services roll out.

✨ Want a recall your dog can’t ignore? Start here. ✨

A reliable recall could save your dog’s life.
In this video, I’m walking you through the full step-by-step process I use to teach a recall that works in the real world.

We cover:
• How to get your dog engaged before calling them
• The right body language to encourage running back
• Why energy matters more than the treat in your hand
• How to build reliability even with distractions

Save this video to use during your next training session, and share it with a friend who’s working on recall too.

If your dog tunes out the second the walk starts, it’s not really a walk...it’s a tug-of-war.

Engagement is everything.
Talk to your dog. Change direction. Reward eye contact.
The more they check in, the less they check out.

Your walk should build focus, not frustration.
