When I adopted her, I thought I was bringing home a loyal, disciplined little Rocky.
What I actually got?
A clingy, Oscar-worthy drama queen wrapped in fur — and apparently, I’m her full-time emotional support human. 😂
🚽 Bathroom trips?
She follows me like we’re being separated forever. The eye contact alone feels like a breakup scene from a 1950s movie.
🍳 In the kitchen?
Two inches from my heels, judging everything I cook like Gordon Ramsay personally hired her.
🚪 Taking out the trash?
She watches me leave with the saddest face imaginable.
Girl… I’m taking out the trash, not moving to another country. 😂
✨ Ignore her for 5 seconds?
The dramatic sigh begins.
Then another.
At this point, I’m waiting for her to file a formal complaint.
And the zoomies?
One leaf moves outside and suddenly she’s running through the house like she owes the FBI money. 💀
So far she has:
✅ Licked every window
✅ Figured out the fridge
✅ Stolen a banana and left the peel on my pillow like a warning from the Fruit Mafia 🍌💀
✅ Destroyed approximately 847 toys
I bought every “indestructible” toy I could find.
She didn’t chew them.
She performed surgery on them. 😂
Then I heard about this stuffing-free octopus dog toy
from >> https://mygerberadaisywear.com/products/octopus-dog-toy
I was desperate, so I gave it a shot.
Now?
🐙 She tosses it.
🐙 Wrestles it.
🐙 Carries it everywhere.
🐙 And sometimes just rests her chin on it like they’ve been through war together.
And somehow…
IT’S STILL INTACT. 😂
Which is more than I can say for:
👟 My sneakers
📺 My TV remote
🧦 Several missing socks
🧠 My remaining brain cells
At this point, I don’t own a dog.
I own a tiny furry roommate with unlimited energy, zero rent, and a PhD in drama. 😂🐶🐙
And honestly… I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
