Saving with Soul is a group of devoted animal rescuers based in the Panhandle of Florida. We specialize in finding shelter animals forever homes through an extensive foster program and weekly adoption events. Please note that we primarily rescue animals already in a local shelter although from time to time we can consider taking private dogs and cats to keep them from ending up in the shelter. We

do not take animals found as strays due to limited resources and legal implications. Any donations made to our group will be used 100% to help us Make Miracles Happen for homeless pets. We recently were approved for 501c3 (non-profit) status, so your donations may be tax deductible. If you would like to join us in our Miracle-Making, we’d love to have you. Just ask us for more information on how you CAN make a difference! In case you missed the memo, Saving with Soul Pet Rescue will be debuting our world-famous pet adoption event at PetSmart Pensacola this Saturday, June 13th.

Since this is our first official adoption event in Pensacola in forever, we aim to please. Below are some of the dogs we are considering bringing, but we'd love for YOU to help us decide!

Take a look through the album and react to your TEN favorites. "Like" them. "Love" them. "Care about" them. Give them a heart. A thumbs up. Whatever strikes your fancy.

It doesn't matter why they're your favorites. Maybe they're adorable. Maybe they're ridiculous. Maybe they look like your childhood dog. Maybe they have ears that deserve their own ZIP code.

We just want to know which dogs catch your eye.

PENSACOLA... HERE WE COME!

For the last 14 years, Saving with Soul Pet Rescue has hosted adoption events EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND, 52 weeks/year - mostly in Okaloosa County where our one-of-a-kind The PUPStop by Saving with Soul Pet Rescue Adoption Center is based.

But in 2026, we're going to expand our reach to serve our nearby communities with one goal: being able to save even MORE dogs than our current average of 1,600/year.

Will Pensacola and PetSmart be a part of that?

Just Say YES.

Saving with Soul Pet Rescue will be setting up at the Pensacola PetSmart on Saturday, June 13th with at least 25 dogs available for adoption. Adoptions begin at 10am and we'll be there until at least 3pm.

OH, and we'll be INSIDE in the AIR CONDITIONING!
