Amazing week for these 2 superstars at Princeton Show Jumping

Ailey Rexford and her Zweet embrace were 1st and 2nd in every one of their classes this week including the .80s which they moved up to for the first time ever! Then they finished off the week champion in the .70s and also won their classic! So proud of this pairs progress for only being together for just under a year!

Emma Rexford and her U Owe Jack Cash also had an amazing week with consistent ribbons in the hunters and equitation! The pair was 2nd in the Bit O’ Straw and 4th in the Low Children’s Hunter Classic. So excited for this pair to take on their first Marshall and Sterling Finals in 2 weeks!🥳♥️

HITS VI started with a soggy beginning with record breaking amounts of rain! But it turned out to be a great week for all our pairs!
⭐️Emily and Vogue had great rounds and ribbons in a competitive group of the .60s
⭐️Emma and Cash had an amazing week including champion in the novice eq, 4th in the Bit o’ straw and ribbons in a huge group of low hunters
⭐️Ailey and Lola continued to progress in the .70s with top ribbons in every class out of some competitive groups
⭐️Samantha and Stella ended their week champion in the .90s winning their last class
So proud of our banner with all those ribbons for one week, four horses, and a canceled day of showing!
Next stop 🔜 Princeton!

Great weekend at

Emily Lozito started the day off taking home Champion in the leap frog jumpers after a 7 year hiatus from showing/riding! It’s so amazing to see her back at it and having the most fun!

Ailey Rexford then took on the itty bitty jumpers taking home Reserve Champion after some of her greatest rounds to date! We are so proud of how this pair has been progressing!

Lastly but certainly not least Emma Rexford was Reserve Champion in the low children’s hunters and was 3rd in the Bit O’ Straw and 6th in the medal! Then Sunday the pair took on the Disco Derby and had phenomenal rounds to land them a 4th place with scores of 80 and 81!

So proud of all my riders and cannot wait for HITS in 2 weeks with be best group!!🥳🐴♥️

I’m still in shock that I even have to write this. I am heartbroken to say that our sweet Hazel crossed the rainbow bridge this morning very unexpectedly. We only had 5 amazing years together but I can only hope that those were her best years. I wish there was something I could’ve done. I just keep going back to the day I met you with your dull hairy coat, skinny, the worst shoulder rubs and needing some TLC. The way you transformed so easily with just an ounce of love and the right care. You gave me your all always and I swear you were just trying to say thank you. You were the best girl to all my kids, and life is just so unfair. Kiss your horses everyday people and show them how much you love them, because you never know when it will be your last. Rest in the greenest pastures my sweet Hazelnut💜🥺

Thankful that I do not have to worry about this, it is absolutely INSANE that vets are using this prduct incorrectly! The professionals that we put our trust in to do right by our horses and advocate for them are knowingly using a product incorrectly and putting horses lives are risk!!
There is a special place in hell for those particular vets!

🚨🚨This is an urgent PSA for all horse owners getting joint injections. There is a recall of a contaminated hyaluronic acid (HA) product that some veterinarians have been using off-label as part of their intra-articular medications. The product is called HyCoat and is manufactured by Neogen Labs.

Importantly, this is not a product I have ever used, so my own clients have no need for concern. However, many people who see my Facebook posts are not my clients.

If you plan on having your horse's joints injected, please ask specifically what products are used. HyCoat is not an FDA-approved product and was never manufactured for use within equine joints. The only products that should be used are FDA-approved medications such as Hyvisc , Hyalovet or Legend.

Use of the recalled product has been shown to cause joint infections, which can be not only career-ending but also life-threatening.

If you own a horse that has recently been injected with HyCoat and is now experiencing fever, significant lameness or swelling of the treated joint- please bring them to your local equine hospital ASAP as early and aggressive treatment is important for joint infections.

Please advocate for yourself and make sure your veterinarian uses an FDA-approved product on your horse. Please share this so as many people as possible are aware.
