I’m still in shock that I even have to write this. I am heartbroken to say that our sweet Hazel crossed the rainbow bridge this morning very unexpectedly. We only had 5 amazing years together but I can only hope that those were her best years. I wish there was something I could’ve done. I just keep going back to the day I met you with your dull hairy coat, skinny, the worst shoulder rubs and needing some TLC. The way you transformed so easily with just an ounce of love and the right care. You gave me your all always and I swear you were just trying to say thank you. You were the best girl to all my kids, and life is just so unfair. Kiss your horses everyday people and show them how much you love them, because you never know when it will be your last. Rest in the greenest pastures my sweet Hazelnut💜🥺

Thankful that I do not have to worry about this, it is absolutely INSANE that vets are using this prduct incorrectly! The professionals that we put our trust in to do right by our horses and advocate for them are knowingly using a product incorrectly and putting horses lives are risk!!
There is a special place in hell for those particular vets!

🚨🚨This is an urgent PSA for all horse owners getting joint injections. There is a recall of a contaminated hyaluronic acid (HA) product that some veterinarians have been using off-label as part of their intra-articular medications. The product is called HyCoat and is manufactured by Neogen Labs.

Importantly, this is not a product I have ever used, so my own clients have no need for concern. However, many people who see my Facebook posts are not my clients.

If you plan on having your horse's joints injected, please ask specifically what products are used. HyCoat is not an FDA-approved product and was never manufactured for use within equine joints. The only products that should be used are FDA-approved medications such as Hyvisc , Hyalovet or Legend.

Use of the recalled product has been shown to cause joint infections, which can be not only career-ending but also life-threatening.

If you own a horse that has recently been injected with HyCoat and is now experiencing fever, significant lameness or swelling of the treated joint- please bring them to your local equine hospital ASAP as early and aggressive treatment is important for joint infections.

Please advocate for yourself and make sure your veterinarian uses an FDA-approved product on your horse. Please share this so as many people as possible are aware.

BIG congratulations to Ailey Rexford on her purchase of Zweet Embrace “Lola”!! Everything happens for a reason and we are so glad that this pair found each other!! We love Lola so much already and I am so excited to see this pair progress and grow together!! Congrats Ailey you deserve it!😍🥳🦄♥️

I’m not to sure where to even begin, but yesterday we lost my old man Aidan. He was the first boarder horse we ever had at Greenbriar Farm. He has been with us for 12 amazing years. My story with Aidan began way before that as my friend and I showed him and Darnells together for years. It feels like the ending of a book and it breaks my heart. I find comfort in knowing Aidan is back together with my boy Darnells again and I know my dad is taking the best care of them.🥺 I want to say thank you to Peggy for always trusting me with her horses and knowing how much I love and care for them, it means the world♥️ Rest in peace sweet boy, I will always miss seeing your face hanging out the front of my big red barn sun bathing☀️😇🐴♥️

2 weeks ago our team had a great week at
We were lucky enough to have Nicole and Gucci spend the week with us and they put in some great rounds in a competitive .90 group! Hopefully we’ll get to steal them again for more horse shows😛
Ailey took our very own Vogue and they had an amazing week in the itty bitty jumpers and got ribbons out of huge classes almost every time and even a 7th in the classic on Sunday! 💜
Last but definitely not least Emma and Cash had a great week in the 3’ hunters and eq and they got some awesome ribbons as well, also out of huge groups! I am so proud of cash, he always does everything with so much heart😍
So so proud of my team, and always so grateful to get to bring my girl Stella and show as well, along side training my girls! 🤩🐴♥️
