Good morning, everybody I just wanted to give everybody a heads up today is my last day of school. I've got graduation and my test on Monday.. I finally made it! I will be going to 3 days a week starting not next week but the week after. I am going through the hiring process with a department that has me on one 48 shift a week, which will leave me a few days to work at the shop, and I am so grateful for that! It still limits me the amount of clientele I can take, though. I have also been informed that kristen is not going to be staying. So I will send out texts here in the next couple of days to get you on the schedule. I will turn on the work phone again here in the next couple of days. As of right now, the days that I will be working will be wednesday thursday friday. Those days may change as the department sets my schedule. But if you're willing to be a little flexible with me, I would love to have my clients that were on my 2 day schedule back and I can pick up a few more to get on the schedule. To my amazing clients that have stuck with me and encouraged me along the way... I love you So much! I have had so much going on in the last year and you guys have stuck it out with me... Between the divorce, my house flooding not once, but twice two semesters of school and my car blowing up lol you guys have been so amazing and understanding. To those that had appointments, and for some reason, messaging didn't go through and you showed up, I deeply deeply apologize it was never intentional. Please reach out and I would like to make it right if I can.

Hey guys! I wanted to clear things up. I am not closed! I am still doing weekends. I am working on getting another booth renter right now.. Kristen is working on getting her certification and will be starting very soon! She will be working at full schedule. I am still there on the weekends. I'm just in school right now and I graduate my academy, July 6th. I have a few bath appointments that I can squeeze in on the weekends for dogs like beagles, labs, some huskies, etc. Easier type bath dogs. Kristen will be opening up her schedule very soon for a full schedule of all dogs including haircuts and xl dogs! Stay tuned for her contact information. She will be her own business and just working out of bailey grooming's shop.. so prices and procedures may vary a bit. I'll get you all more information very very soon!

I'm excited to be at work today and see my clients that are on my schedule! I will be catching up with text and phone calls later in the day and towards the end of the day. First week of school was great! Only fifteen more weeks to go haha. Please remember I cannot take walk in nail trims.If you want to get a nail trim today, please let me know and we can work something out possibly at the end of the day.

Hello everyone. I've been trying to find other alternatives before I made this post official. I had a booth renter that said they wanted to come on then backed out last week. So now I'm left with no choice.

I got accepted back to the police academy and am going to weekends only with a few exceptions in May. I've been over my head trying to keep up with everyone needing to get in but I can't. I just can't. I've been having almost a mental breakdown crying trying to figure out how I don't disappoint Bailey Grooming's amazing clients. I've told several of you already and got lots of you booked out through the beginning of July and some I had to let go... I've tried going through the whole client list but I've been wearing myself so thin I have to run from here to get kids then almost pass out the minute I get home. So it's nothing personal.. I'm not trying to ignore anyone. I still have a handful of spots left for my schedule through June... if you want to get in please message me. I can't guarantee a spot. Most available are for bath and brush spots for shorter coats like lab, beagle, pit, pug, etc...I CAN'T accommodate super hairy biggens like pyranese, Newfoundland, malamute etc... I also DON'T have anymore spots for big haircuts like doodles, standard poodles, etc .. and if it's a small dog haircut it needs to be a short short cut.. basically a shave.

If any of Heather's regulars didn't get messaged directly about this.. I'm human please contact me! I may still be able to find a spot for you. If you are one of Gabe or kelsey's regulars that fit what I can possibly fit in... contact me.

I will do my very best to get as many of you on my books as I can. Academy goes from March 16th to graduating day of July 6th.
Again please please please be kind. I've literally made myself sick over this and have had some nasty comments.

And I don't owe anyone an explanation for letting the employees go but I'd rather it come from me than speculation...
I couldn't afford them. Period. They were amazing and I know i will never be able to replace them. When I first bought this place i made a poor choice and took out a loan to help with mine and my soon to be ex-husbands business and am now going through a divorce... and haven't been able to catch up but was keeping my head barely above water. Then the insurance for workers comp and liability went through the roof and it was costing me money to even employ them... so I had to. I cried about it for weeks. I offered them booth rental positions but both declined which is fine it's not for everyone. So we are where we are.

Due to snow and travel safety concerns I will be closing for today and trying to dig myself out. They plowed my road but left about a 3 foot "drift" in front of my driveway. I will be in touch with everyone via text at some point today regarding upcoming scheduling. I have been rather overwhelmed and over my head. I mean no disrespect nor hard feelings. I'm trying my best. And mother nature is going to do what mother nature is going to do. Trust me I'd rather be at work than stuck in the house... I'm very frustrated too.
