Brett Reinke wrote to tell us how Izzy has been doing (3 year old Scout x Henry)

“We got out pheasant hunting 15 days this fall/winter! Izzy is doing amazing, she's finding/pointing birds that other dogs have run right by. It's so fun to watch!
From the minute I start getting the hunting gear ready, she's by my side making sure I don't leave without her. Once we get home from hunting, she's snuggling up to our daughters. She's the perfect balance of family and hunting dog!
I've attached a picture of our last outing of the year in South Dakota a couple of weeks ago.

Still figuring out when to get our next one :)”

Jim Starlz sent us an update on Louie (Scout x Henry)

Louie is now 3.5 years old and finished his best season yet. There was one hunt that he must have had 15-20 solid points!

We love check-ins! You may remember Reba, she’s been busy…

From owner mick ling: “I winged a bird that sailed into cut corn a few hundred yards away. It still had its legs and Reba was unreal. My hunting buddy called it “cinematic”. After a 200 yard full sprint she chased the rooster around for what felt like five minutes. Almost out of site. But she was victorious. And I was one proud owner as you can hear in my voice. lol.”

We got a wonderful update from Grant VanElsberg - owner of "Grizz" a 2023 pup by Scout x Henry.
Here is a little of what he has to say about Grizz...
Since the day we got him he has been an amazing addition to our family. He is such a kind and gentle soul around everyone and just loves any attention anyone can give him. We have many friends and family members with young children and I couldn’t begin to tell you how many compliments we have gotten on how gentle and well behaved he is with them. Our daughter was also born last January and they are always together playing on the floor. Adaline just lights up when she sees him.
Anywhere I go, he follows me immediately and always stays within sight even on adventures. He has taken very well to the training we have done so far as well. My priority was him being well-rounded and gentle for the family, so I didn’t push the hunt training too much outside of the basics for the first year based on some books I read.
His favorite things are definitely being outside doing anything with me. Training, hunting, being in the boat or fish house, or just wandering around the woods looking for smells are all things he’s all about. The only things I think we’ve found that he doesn’t like is the vacuum and getting his teeth brushed. He’s really just a gentle, happy-go-lucky pup that we feel very blessed to have be a member of our family.
