HorseSensing would like to thank the Madison Classic Horse Show for allowing our program to share with Rural Minds as Charities for the horse show! The Madison Classic Horse Show is a top horse show that honors the traditions of the American Saddlebred. It is admirable that the horse show committee recognizes the need for programs like ours and Rural Minds. Thank you!!!

What a wonderful week! HorseSensing is at the KASPHA Show this week at the Shelby County Fair Grounds.
First of all KUDOS to the KASPHA volunteer team for putting on an Excellent Horse Show! The little touches of hospitality do not go unnoticed! Thank you!
This week in particular it became apparent that after 5 solid years of HorseSensing Graduates funneling into the horse industry that WE ARE MAKING AN IMPACT! As I looked around the horse show I saw our HorseSensing grooms in so many barns that were showing! That means these young men are doing a good job, being productive and rehabiltated! What an amazing gift! Long ago I (Sally) was a Saddlehorse groom from the age of 15. I took a wrong turn and came back to the Saddlebred industry at the age of 26 to groom these magnificent horses for Bill Field Stables. I was SO proud to be putting these stunning horses in the ring for their riders. I stayed on track for the rest of my life, blossoming, getting educated and finally able to pass on this tremendous form of recovery to others.
Watching these young me thrive in the Saddlehorse industry is EVERYTHING to me.
I would like to thank each trainer who has hired a HorseSensing groom, given them a chance, a job and a new way of life. Thank you!
