🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: SH 96 TOTAL CLOSURE (BOTH DIRECTIONS)

TxDOT crews will conduct roadway work that requires a total closure of SH 96 (eastbound and westbound) from Evergreen Memorial Parkway to SH-146.

🗓 Closure Begins: Friday, January 9, 2026 – 8:00 PM
🗓 Closure Ends: Monday, January 12, 2026 – 5:00 AM

➡️ Detour Route (to and from SH-146):
Use Evergreen Memorial Parkway, Anders Lane, or Lawrence Road to 518.

⚠️ Expect delays, especially during peak travel times. Please plan extra time for your trip and consider alternate routes if possible.

✅ Drivers are asked to:
• Be patient
• Slow down and observe all warning signs
• Follow detour directions
• Drive safely near the work zone

Closures may change due to weather or construction conditions.

So proud of our team for doing so well today and yesterday at the Edgebrook equestrian IEA show. Our riders put in a lot of work to do their absolute best at this show and we are very proud of them for giving it their all and winning champion of the show for High school on Sunday. Thank you so much to our coaches for helping us every step of the way and the parents that support us in everything we do. 💙❤️
