🧡 HAPPY GINGER CAT APPRECIATION DAY! 🧡

Today we celebrate the most orange, most chaotic, and somehow most lovable little weirdos in the cat world!

Ginger cats may only have one brain cell between them, but somehow they use it to:

- Knock things off tables
- Scream for absolutely no reason
- Get the zoomies at 3 AM
- Stare at a wall like they’ve seen the future
- Commit crimes and then immediately ask for cuddles
- Steal your food like they pay the mortgage

But honestly… we wouldn’t have them any other way!

NOW WE WANT TO SEE THEM!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO IMPACT!

We want to give a BIG shoutout to the amazing group Impact for coming out to the shelter last week and spending some time with our animals!

We had so much fun working together to create these adorable adoption posters to help show off our shelter pets and hopefully catch the eye of their future families!

But that’s not all — we absolutely LOVE having this group come out and help us with so many different projects, from creating enrichment activities to spending time socializing our dogs and cats. Their time, creativity, and love make such a difference to the animals in our care!

Thank you, Impact, for always being willing to lend a hand and make shelter life a little brighter for our furry friends. We appreciate you more than you know!

Today is all about celebrating our best friends, our cuddle buddies, our adventure partners, and the little (or BIG) goofballs who make our lives so much better!

So let’s see those FUR BABIES!

While this post may be a little late...Our Animal Control Officers have been busy making sure their new manager sees all the hard work they do to make sure that the animals (wild or domestic) are safe and cared for.

Last week officer's received a call for a fawn that had gotten itself into a bit of situation that required a few extra hands to help her out!

Officer's were able to safely get this baby back onto solid ground and get her somewhere safe where she can recover from her ordeal!
