We wanted to say a big thank you to all who joined our open house this past Saturday - it was such a success we forgot to get the action shots! Below are some photos as to what we had to offer - not shown is Marty's cafe (sponsored by our friends at Zoetis) and Caity Caity's ice cream truck. Sabrina smiles, Axle smiles, we all smile for heartworm tests!

🩸Because heartworms can live in a dog's blood vessels, the test requires a small blood sample and tests for specific heartworm proteins (antigens).
✅Many veterinarians use a combination "4DX" test, which tests for heartworms as well as tick-borne diseases like Lyme, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichia.
⚠️Giving heartworm prevention medication to a dog that already has a heartworm infection can cause severe, potentially life-threatening allergic complications. A test guarantees the dog is clear before starting or resuming preventative medicine.
📆The American Heartworm Society recommends testing all dogs every 12 months

🥳Tomorrow is the day! Open house on 6/6 from 11am-2pm!
We will have FREE food from Marty's cafe, FREE ice cream, FREE raffles and FREE swag! You can also walk through our clinic and our boarding department, as well as ask general questions and just socialize with your family here at AAMC! We look forward to seeing our clients and if you have never been here before, we look forward to meeting you!
(P.s Devens food truck/craft festival will be happening right around the corner from 11-5, make a whole day of it and support them too!)
