Some moments are just too sweet not to share.

“Smokey,” our red-collar boy inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains, found himself a baby to snuggle and decided that protecting her was his job. 🐾🤍

This is one of the many reasons we love our lineage so much. Their gentle hearts and natural desire to love and comfort others make them such incredible family companions.

Our National Park Adventure Litter is growing so quickly, and watching their little personalities shine is one of our favorite parts of raising them.

At Double L Retrievers, Puppy Pick Out Day is much more than simply choosing a puppy. Each family is scheduled for a private one-hour appointment so we can spend time introducing each puppy, discussing personalities and temperaments, and helping match every puppy with the home that fits them best.

One of our favorite parts of this process is getting to know our families. Building those relationships means so much to us because we truly care where our puppies go and want this to be a joyful experience for everyone involved.

During your visit, families will also have the opportunity to:

🦮🦮Meet the parents of the litter, Sylvia and Jasper
🎙️Interact with each puppy individually
📝Learn about each puppy’s unique temperament
❓Ask questions and get to know us and our program
🏡Create memories your family will cherish

For our out-of-state families, we are happy to accommodate Puppy Pick Out Day through FaceTime so no one misses out on the experience.

Some days are busy, some days are messy… and some days end with a bed full of Golden Retriever puppies and a little girl who couldn’t be happier. 🥹❤️🐾

These are the moments we know we’ll miss one day. Our puppies are raised right alongside our family, surrounded by love, laughter, and lots of cuddles.
