This is The Duke. Due to a medical condition in a few weeks I will be going into assisted living facility for the remainder of my life. I want Duke to have a safe, comfortable and happy life so I’d ideally like to find him a home before I leave. He’s 7, neutered, up to date on shots and extremely well trained. He’s been my service dog for 5 years and has even carried me on his back when I faint and gets me to the couch. He knows basic tricks but also comes with the Poodle barking-his only flaw. His groomer calls him her unicorn because she’s never seen a dog love being groomed as much as Duke. Because I’ve been basically bedridden for two years he might need a little reminder of his training, even as smart as he is. He’s a black and white Parti poodle, 68 pounds of pure muscle. He gallops gracefully, takes treats gently and loves other animals and children. Hates garbage trucks and the mailman lol. If someone needs a service dog, or just wants a human-like dog please reach out to me, but only if you’re serious. He deserves his next home to be as loving as mine was. This one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. He doesn’t have to be only a service dog, I’d love to see him just be a pet and a best friend. Please send pm for application.
