National Park #2 (that was open - we only got to check out the grounds of Thomas Edison and Morristown) - Valley Forge!

This trip holds a special place in my heart - every year, Bear and I would road trip down to Yorktown VA, making some stops along the way - one of which was Valley Forge. I haven’t done this trip since Bear died, so being able to share those memories - and make new ones! - with Simba has been really special.

Both my boys loved the wood cabins at Valley Forge - and both wanted to know why they wasted all those big sticks! 😂

Happy 4th birthday to the wormiest little worm I’ve ever met. He’s a professional instigator (everyone will finally be calm and Shark has to get up and taunt Simba), his head is somehow always wet from rolling in the grass (even when the grass is dry 🤢), and there’s not a single brain cell in that head of his. But somehow our family wouldn’t be complete with out him.

We had a family photo shoot the other day with the amazing, talented and the photos came out so good!!

I FINALLY have a picture of me and all four of my dogs - where everyone is looking at the camera and not staring off into space 😂

She was able to capture the essence of each dog perfectly - right down to the empty void that is Kaya’s brain 😂

Happy 9th birthday to my silly Goose! 🪿

Pretty sure he was born an old man. Just wants to sleep on the couch and stand in the yard with his footballs. Except when his bff Cash comes over - then Goosey is 2 years old 😂

Goose has been the perfect addition to our little family, and I can’t imagine how we lived without this professional spot-stealer!
