Happy Tom Tuesday!
Tom is checking our gastroscope equipment to make sure it is all ready for our Annual Gastroscope Day! Please join us at the clinic on June 19th. We will be performing multiple gastroscope procedures throughout the day, so if you've never seen one, this is your chance to see what it's all about.
We will have lunch and refreshments provided by Heidi Sharkey-Webb, our Boehringer-Ingelheim representative, who will be happy to discuss the benefits of Gastrogard for anyone who is interested.
All of our vets will also be present to explain the procedures and discuss any findings/recommendations that come up.
We are also still accepting participants. If you have been considering a gastroscope for your horse, this is a great opportunity for you - please call or email the clinic to sign up.

Happy Foal Friday!
What an amazing ultrasound image we have for you today! This is a foal's chest, taken while in utero.
Those bright white lines towards the top are the ribs, which are each casting a black shadow deep below them. This shadow effect happens because ultrasound cannot pe*****te bones.
In the lower right hand corner, you can see the heart beating, with all its chambers and valves on full display.
We can't wait to meet this little baby!

We had an amazing turn out and helped many horses and owners prepare for their upcoming seasons.
