πΊπΈ Happy Independence Day! πΊπΈ
From all of us at our clinic, we wish you, your families, and your pets a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July!
As you celebrate, please keep these important pet safety reminders in mind:
π Fireworks Safety: Fireworks can be extremely stressful for many pets. Keep dogs and cats indoors in a secure, quiet area where they feel safe and cannot escape or injure themselves. Be sure your pet is wearing identification and that microchip information is up to date, just in case.
π Holiday Foods: While it can be tempting to share your cookout favorites, foods such as hot dogs, hamburgers, bones, onions, grapes, chocolate, alcohol, and other holiday treats can be harmful to pets. Please ask family members and guests to avoid feeding table scraps.
π¨ Emergency Care: If your pet experiences a medical emergency while we are closed, please contact Veterinary Health Care Associates at 863-324-3340. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency veterinary care.
Thank you for trusting us with your petsβ care. We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe Independence Day! β€οΈπ€π
