As a Christian Conservative, I believe Alex Pretti should not have been killed. This was a tragic loss of life that could have been prevented, and responsible law enforcement is essential for every community.
Update: this video was created 2 days ago, before the newly surfaced video of Alex kicking out the taillight of an ICE vehicle and spitting towards it. My view that Alex was murdered, and that this shooting could have been prevented, remains unchanged. That newly surfaced video does not help Alex’s character assessment from the left. If Alex had been arrested in the original incident, he likely would still be alive. This just goes to show the need for local and state law enforcement to work with federal officers and it highlights the lack of resources DHS officials face in the field.
