We regret to inform you that our founder has failed.

Quin has fostered for seventeen years and never once kept a cat. Then, Midnight turned up from Honduras—three weeks behind his siblings Magic and Mocha—two and a half pounds and far too cold to eat. Quin took him home to get him warm.

Same as always (allegedly).

Waiting at the house for Midnight were two eight-year-old veteran cats, and Messi, dumped near the building last August and short one best friend.

Midnight filled the vacancy in about four days. Grooming. Napping. Full conspiracy. You cannot take a cat’s best friend away from him. There are rules.

Quin has four cats now. This is a FOSTER FAIL we can get behind!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Jeni’s South Congress for our give-back night!

You scooped up nearly $500 in ice cream, and because Jeni’s gave back 25% of every order, $120 came home to Sydney’s. In cat terms, that’s about 150 meals, a stack of new wand toys, and a few very happy naps.

Enormous thanks to the team at Jeni’s for opening their shop to us and giving so generously, and to Chewy Vet Care for joining the night and bringing the goods.
