Frankie has had a life that would break most dogs and definitely most humans. He didn’t let it break him, though. He’s now in his golden years and has been in rescue over a year. Not a single application. No one looking for an older black male pitbull that needs to be an only pet even though he loves kids and loves blankies and loves car rides and loves humans. I hate thinking of him spending what’s left of his life in a shelter setting so I take the time with him. I let him roll in the grass. I let him squeak the toys. I let him be Frankie because Frankie is an amazing soul and because I don’t know how much time he has left but I want that time to be as happy as it can be.

If you’re reading this and you don’t have 15 years to commit to a new dog but you have a couple and you have a couch with no other animals please consider Frankie. I promise you you won’t regret it. ❤️❤️❤️

Next up on our spoooooky line-up is a real terror!! It’s none other than *insert scary music here* DR. ALANI THE VETERINARIAN!! *insert screams of terror!!*

Now listen, we love our veterinarians but we have to admit that for a lot of rescue dogs they’re scared poop-less (literally) the first time they get medical care!

We told the dogs to dress up in their scariest costumes for a contest!! First up is the Frankie-vac. Sure he could have went with the obvious “Frankenstein” but he wanted something truly terrifying!!
