Happy SEVEN year anniversary to EZ Dog Stay and Play. 🐾
My very first daycare day, I had 3 dogs signed up… and I truly had no idea what this would grow into.
Today, we’re caring for over 11,000 reservations a year, operating out of our 3rd location, with a fleet of 5 dog buses and an incredible EZ dog team.
From having no plumbing at my first spot (yes… T-posts, the woods, and heating meals with a cigarette lighter in the dog bus 😅), to remodeling my second location and making it work with what I had… to taking a leap in 2022 and purchasing our current property just to keep up with demand and build something permanent.
From the early grind of learning the business side, to going viral with the dog bus, to dressing up as a dog on Let’s Make a Deal, to being the dog sitter at clients’ weddings, to even transporting clients’ dogs to Colombia… to personal challenges like my cancer diagnosis, to training and building a team, to going on a waitlist multiple times over the years for dogs waiting to join EZ Dog, etc.. But through it all, we’re still here.
I’m beyond proud of what I’ve built, and so incredibly grateful for the thousands of clients and supporters who have trusted me with their dogs and stood by me through it all. 💙
