That’s a wrap! We just finished our final Saturday here at AVC. The decision to start closing on Saturdays was not made lightly. When I bought the clinic in 2016, the idea of being closed on Saturdays was unimaginable. The truth is, a lot has changed since then. Staffing has become increasing challenging and managing the stress of working in a clinic and dealing with burnout has become even more difficult. This is a job that we all love but that doesn’t mean it is easy. Closing on Saturdays will give us all more time to refresh, recharge and get to enjoy our kids soccer games, friends brunches, weekend getaways, or even just sleep in and get ready for another week. We so appreciate all of our clients who have supported us through this decision and are grateful for our neighboring urgent care and emergency clinics who will be available to meet the needs of our patients. We will miss seeing you and your pets on the weekends but will be ready to greet you all, bright and early each Monday morning.

We are sad to announce that after 18 years at Allandale Vet, Christina will be leaving the practice. If you have spent any time with us, you know just how special Christina is! She has been a knowledgeable, dependable, and beloved member of the AVC family for many years. Christina treats all of our clients and patients with care (although she does have a special place in her heart for our Boxer and Maine C***s patients :) While we are excited for her to take on her next venture, we know it won’t be the same without her. Her last day will be Friday August 7th, so please join us in wishing her well! 💕

📢 Schedule Update: We will no longer be open on Saturdays.

Starting September, Allandale Veterinary Clinic will be closed every Saturday. Our new hours will be Monday–Friday, 7:30am - 6pm.

We know this is a change, and we appreciate your understanding! For anything urgent over the weekend, please contact your closest emergency veterinary hospital or urgent care clinic.
