Here’s my truths:
90% of
This career is slapping bandaids on problems owners and trainers are aware of but unwilling to fix, address, even acknowledge. They want a quick fix now bc I have a show/clinic to get to. (But your horse has been chopping strides for weeks. You just thought they were stiff and waited until three days before to do anything about it.)
NEWS FLASH turning your already lame horses out to “fix“ the issue is actually doing the opposite. 🙃
You go through magna wave, theraplate, any sort of injectable something that promises more synovial fluid in your horses joints so they will turn into superman overnight and a wave of my fairy wand will actually make magnawave treatments work. spoiler, they don’t. Also a slideshow is not enough education you should be allowing your new “holy grail practitioner“ that Stacie lou recommended bc “her horse was feeling so much better“ to be working even near your horse. (Stacie Lou who has literally no education on this subject of equine anatomy/physio/anything scientific related to horses, might I add)
Also, the muscles don’t need to violently freaking shake!!! Do your own research! Multiple universities debunked the theraplate alone proving it literally does nothing to aid in rehabilitation.
People are stealing your money and you sleep at night feeling better bc your horse is “better”. When you’re just banking on the feel good dopamine because “I paid them a lot so it must be making my horse run better” WRONG. (gaslighting yourself into thinking you actually did well by your horses biomechanics is treatable, dont fret 😂)
I don’t have the finger strength for my internet rant on how long your horses toes are or how that farrier isn’t certified and his backyard education is ok to get by but he doesn’t notice the uneven growth or misplaced shoes to make your horse bolegged. And then go lame. And then call a body worker (hopefully one that didn’t go to equisage or another knock off school promising you 100% success rate with your 5lbs of finger pressure that’s “relieving your horses seasonal allergies” or recommending apple cider vinegar so they can “inhale” the mother.….i cant)
I am not for everyone And that not what this post is about. I am so tired of seeing people get scammed out of their money for fake promises from a “trusted” horse person. Not every horse needs to be worked on believe it or not. Not every week or even month Bodywork is a bandaid that gets blamed when your horses feet are 2cm longer putting pressure on that beautiful suspensory, or putting leg wraps on when it’s 100* and you wonder why they bowed. 🫥
Bodywork is blamed and shunned when other “workers” aren’t educated, get no releases consistently, and basically are just sh*tty at their job.
Hire someone who fits your program, answers questions and doesn’t just take your money without giving you homework for your pony in between sessions. Oh, they don’t give you homework?
Oh boy…..

If you wanna go fast like Ricky Barbie, let’s chat about bodywork!

How is this different from pemf, chiro alone and other therapies? I focus on releasing fascia and trigger points through accupressure and massage to help alleviate your horses pain. Thus maximizing their full potential!

Multi horse discounts and I travel all over Texas!

Felt cute, might stick with dressage 😂
But seriously, today was filled with a TON of lightbulb moments 💡
As some people know, I have an extra vertebrae in my spine that’s actually fractured. I’m “technically” not clear to ride since every time I would jump it would cause severe pain in my lower back and on the back of my pelvis. (Sorry doc, I just need this therapy 😂)
I have to say, after sitting in a dressage saddle I have ZERO pain. Maybe it’s the position of my pelvis in the saddle? Less pressure on my back? Who knows. But I’m HERE FOR IT! 👏👏👏
I have a lot to learn but I’m determined to get back to where I was, better than that actually. 🐎
Thank you Ms. Jennifer for taking your time to explain things to me and spark this love for dressage today. ❤️

Releasing the lower back, one Reiner at a time.
Tension is noticeable around the last rib and continuing into the hind end. This type of tension can cause an alter in stride, balance and ability to bend.
Have questions on how to alleviate this tension in between sessions? Just give me a call 😎

🚨LETS RELEASE SOME RHOMBOIDS 🐎🚨

Rhomboids are the deep muscle located at the top of your horses neck. The first part is located on the top of the neck at the cervical section and the second is located in the thoracic region near the withers.

The rhomboids are responsible for retracting, elevating and rotating the scapula. (Picking up and putting down the front leg)

When these muscles get tight it can alter your horses gate to short stride, become choppy in stride, along with the inability to lift and round its neck and free their shoulder movement. (Among a few others)

Since the rhomboids act as your counter balance to the horses movement this can be a cause of lack of strength in the hind end or hyperflexion of the neck due to the riders hands holding too much tension, which drives the horses neck downwards and the horse cannot move with proper self carriage.
