Our mission is to help you have a dog you want to take everywhere -- running on Lady Bird Lake, downtown, for coffee, in elevators, to work -- wherever you go. We do this by teaching you a positive, non-intimidating approach to dog training based on play and fun. The Canine Center's unique training methodology is the culmination and refinement of years of successful application to more than 13,000

dogs and their people, and 8,000 class sessions. We are committed to providing you with comprehensive, high quality dog training and behavior services based on principles developed by world-renowned behviorist John Rogerson. We look forward to new programs, new locations, and continuing to help you and your canine enjoy your life together.

A round of happy tails for Flynn! 🐾❤️

Flynn came to us from PAWS Shelter of Central Texas for our Board & Train program, that we offer in select circumstances for rescue dogs who could benefit from extra support before joining their new homes. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to help him prepare. While we’re sad to see him go, there’s nothing better than watching a deserving rescue find their forever family. Congratulations, Flynn! We’re so happy for you! 🏡🐶

Goodbyes are never easy.🥹

This year, we’re saying farewell to three very special members of our Canine Center family-Juniper, Ada, and Etta-and their wonderful humans as they begin exciting new adventures in new places!

It’s been such a privilege to be part of their journeys, and watching these dogs learn, grow, thrive, and build relationships we will cherish forever. While we’re sad to see you go, we’re so grateful for the memories we have created together. Thank you for trusting us with your incredible pups!

Wishing Juniper, Ada, Etta, And their families safe travels, endless adventures, and a lifetime of fun! We all miss you guys so much already!🐾❤️

UPDATE: The office will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, June 13th. The office will reopen 8:30am-4:30pm on Sunday, June 14th.

Tomorrow marks the beginnning of our annual Youth Camp!🎉

During Youth Camp office hours will be as follows:

June 3rd-5th: 7:30am-4:30pm, June 6th-7th: 8:30am-4:30pm
June 10th-12th: 7:30am-4:30pm, June 13th-14th: 8:30am-4:30pm
June 17th-19th: 7:30am-4:30pm, June 20th-21st: 8:30am-4:30pm

Parents of campers will be able to reach the office phone Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.

Please be patient with our staff during this busy time.

Cowboy, now Chip, came to us from for our board and train program we offer, in certain circumstances, to dogs in rescue that are in need of some helping hands before joining their new home. He stole the hearts of everyone here, and as sad as we are to see him leave, we couldn't be happier that he found the perfect home! 🏡❤️
