recently, i was in a traumatic single-vehicle car accident that resulted in a severe spinal injury and a fractured sternum.

i required an emergency spinal fusion of five vertebrae, and afterward lost all function and feeling in my left leg.
my surgeon informed me that it is unlikely i will walk again.

i was first rushed to a hospital where i underwent an 8-hour spinal surgery, then transferred to the ICU at Dell Seton Medical Center. after a week and a half there, they moved me to Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital, and my time here is unknown.
